Terms of Service

Rentlira is operated by Martin Zoltai, a sole trader (egyéni vállalkozó) registered in Hungary, with a registered address at Lázár utca 52, Budapest 1202, Hungary ("Rentlira", "we", "us"). Rentlira is a software-as-a-service platform for managing rental properties: tracking properties, tenants, leases, rent payments, expenses, maintenance issues, documents, e-signatures, meter readings, and messaging between landlords and tenants, with an optional AI assistant. These Terms apply to everyone who creates an account, including landlords, invited team members, and tenants using the tenant portal.

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including actions taken by team members you invite. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Rentlira offers a Free plan and paid subscription plans (Starter, Pro, Business), billed monthly, every 6 months, or annually, plus a custom Property Manager plan for larger portfolios. Current prices are shown on the Billing page. Paid plans include a 14-day free trial; you won't be charged until the trial ends unless you cancel first.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us (via Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same billing interval unless cancelled before the renewal date. Taxes are calculated and, where applicable, collected and remitted by Stripe as part of our use of Stripe's Managed Payments.

You can cancel anytime from the Billing page (via the Stripe billing portal). Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not refund the current billing period except as described in our Refund Policy. If you cancel during the trial, you won't be charged at all.

You (and your invited team members) are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the property, tenant, financial and document data you enter into Rentlira, and for having a lawful basis to process any tenant personal data you upload. Documents you generate or sign through Rentlira (including e-signed contracts) are your responsibility to review for legal correctness — Rentlira does not provide legal advice, and generated content (including AI-drafted text) should be reviewed before relying on it.

You won't use Rentlira to store or process data you don't have the right to process, to harass tenants or landlords, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.

We aim to keep Rentlira available and reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, and features may change over time. We'll try to give notice of changes that materially reduce functionality you rely on.

To the extent permitted by law, Rentlira is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue or business arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable Hungarian or EU consumer protection law.

Rentlira and its software, design and branding are our property or that of our licensors. You retain ownership of the data you upload. We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by Hungarian law. If you are an EU consumer, mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence may also apply, and you may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
